Webhooks let your systems react to changes in RTOPilot - a new student created, an enrolment cancelled, a status change - without polling. When an event happens, RTOPilot sends an HTTP POST to a URL you control with a JSON payload describing what happened.

Webhooks

RTOPilot exposes a small HTTP API for external systems (typically an LMS) to push data into the platform. This is separate from the internal API used by the RTOPilot UI — it lives under the /api path prefix and is authenticated with a per-organisation API key.

Public API

RTOPilot can be wired up to a Learning Management System so that creating or transferring a student in RTOPilot automatically creates the matching enrolment in the LMS, and so that course progress in the LMS flows back into RTOPilot's marking and certificates.
